I never played any one the games but do I need to play them to understand whats going on? I will probably just wikipedia it lol.

The trailer doen't show any gameplay, which is disappointing.

Deffo among the ten best game trailers I've ever seen. Deus Ex is one of the best games ever made imo and this appears to have gone back to the roots in a good way, the protagonist, the music, the whole setting, it gave me goosebumps! I can't wait for this and Thief 4!

I didn't see anything in the trailer that directly relates to previous Deus Ex games. Looks like a bit of a reboot to me.

I like the trailer, but it the way it was presented it does not at all portray the gameplay of the original. Though the atmospehere is pretty good as well, then again so was 2's.

I also hear that Thief 4 will be on consoles, and seeing how Thief 3 turned out because it came out on the Xbox I can only hope the guys behind Thief 4 won't add any of the traditional console dumbing down to the PC version.

I don't understand why developers have to go and try to fit games on a consoles by removing features from the PC versioni, when they can just easily create a game that fits a console without ruining a great PC franchise.

Where do I find Deus Ex 1 & 2?

This game is a prequel to 1, happens 25 years before it, and it isn't neccesary to play 1 or 2 before that.

Anyway, DE1 is one of my top 5 games of all time, and this trailer... man, I came when I saw it, DAMN.

Also the fact that it is a Square Enix game (=Production Values) with a deveoper team that are all fans of the original Deus Ex,make me get my hopes so high that if the game meets them... damn.

That's my most anticipated game too :P

But you got to reserve statements like "incredible" for trailers with gameplay.

I mean, it looks pretty and interesting, but gameplay could be a rail shooter for all we know. I for one like rail shooters but you people wouldn't like taht now would you...

I don't believe in this game. Did Eidos ever make a truly great game? Tomb Raider gamess are good, some of them, but not great. And it doesn't make it any better that Squire Enix is involved in it.

The trailers is nice though. Good music and atmosphere.
