I actually think it will. It got better reviews, had a larger opening week, very well known, and people who played NSMB Wii might wanna try the latest 3D mario game out.

Logic and sales trends say no way in hell, but if it sells because of how awesome it is and being a better game than SMG then I'd say yeah, but I really don't see that happening.

I have a feeling New Super Mario Bros Wii might have an effect on how well Super Mario Galaxy 2 does. I mean tons of people are enjoying NSMBW, so maybe people will crave more Mario and go for Galaxy 2? Just a thought.
