A while back I picked up the combo pack, Final Fantasy Anthologies (V and VI) and Chronicles (Chrono Trigger and IV) for the PSX. I started a thread asking about why the load times in Chrono Trigger were so horrendus. To put simply I was told they made the game damn near unplayable and I should look to other versions to experince these classics.
And so I began my search for a suitable replacement for VI but alas I could not find one. So last night I decided to man up and give FFVI (PSX) a try...That game made me do something I haven't done in a long time with a video game....And that was play until the sun came up. Yes there were load times that seemed a bit excessive. But in all honesty, this game has me hooked. The charm and everything I loved about a Final Fantasy is there. The characters are funny and while I think there may be a translation issue here or there. The humor is still intact and understandable, the beginning of this adventure seem to allude that I have an even more amazing and enthralling experience ahead of me . To put it simply it's amazing and I can't wait to boot it up again.
