Forums - Gaming - Dead Space: Extraction coming to PSN/XBLA

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=397169

Electronic Arts Montreal is not proud to inofficially announce - and thus confirm rumours - that they are currently working on a port of Wii rail shooter "Dead Space Extraction". Work started in February 2010, a release should happen at the end of the year.

Apparently the source is considered trustworthy.  $15 is the rumored price point.

This is going to lead somewhere interesting. Likely better graphics and more features for $35 less than they expected Wii owners to put up with.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

True, but I'm curious to see how the controls are going to pan out.  Supposedly Move's pointer feature is less developed than the Wiimote's, and Natal's use will be an interesting first test.  Alternatively, using dual analogues would be very not-fun.

It's a test.

We'll see if HD console owners are worthy of future support.

Awesome, great game.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

Thank you for stating the obvious.

OT: Im more interested in how Natal will utilize the controls.

i'll get it.

Hope they do it with that other Wii flop - the black and white one with lots of red.
