At the rate the PS3 has outsold the Wii over the past couple of years, it would tak 6 years to catch up to the Wii in Japan, and the Wii outsold the PS3 worldwide by a margin of 2 to 1 ... Being that it took a price drop and new SKU to get to these sales levels I think it is fair to say that the PS3 will not dominate the Wii

Too early to tell. That said, people will recognize the value of a truly great system and the PS3 practically defines what a truly great system is.
Everyone assumes that things will remain the same; that the PS3 will never sell more than it does and that the Wii will continue selling as well as it does or even better. I don't, so I won't be surprised if the PS3 can catch the Wii some day, but it'll hardly be domination in any case!

First of all, you need to show some respect to others, especially if they have been in this website, far longer than you. Second of all, you did not understand what I meant. Price drops, and newly released games will boost the sales of consoles, which explains the odd, unexpected, but temporary jumps, in graphs, and charts. Okay? So before calling others "retarded," perhaps you should think twice, and maybe even review your own, mental status, before others. The PSP did not beat the DS. I don't know what you're talking about there. If you meant that it outsold it temporarily, than perhaps you should have added to that sentence, which gives more reason for you not to criticise the posts of others, especially if you have errors in your own. Your 9 year old cousin could not have told me that.

I think that the PS3 and 360 are going to be close at the end of this gen, but I have a feeling that the Wii is going to totally dominate.
