That's hardly what I said is it. Cheating is cheating full stop whenever it happens but are you seriously telling me that you can't understand why someone would talk about that hand ball incident over any normal foul? As if I'm likely to take notes on every foul so that I can complain on an internet message board in the same manor as when such a major incident like that handball occurs.

Exactly, I can't. If you were telling me that the ref wouldn't didn't blow it, I could understand, but that would be a fault of the ref and not of Suárez. I don't see any diff at all, the only one is that it was done in the last minute and the penalty didn't go in, but I didn't see you here calling Kewell a fucking cheater when he pretty much did the same (against the same team, too). Major difference...please, had Gyan shot properly I'm pretty sure we wouldn't see you here with that.

He commited a fault, the correct call was made, period. No cheating, no nothing, just regular flow of the game as delineated by the football rules, I don't see where anyone can complain or call Suarez anything

If you can't see why someone is more likely to talk about the handball incident over any normal foul then I really don't know what to say. It's painfully obvious to me (and everyone else I know who watched the match) what the biggest talking point was. That's the only reason I brought it up. It really is nothing personal against him. As for the Kewel incident, you could pick out every time I didn't call a player a cheat and the simple explanation for that is that I have other things to do apart from posting my opinion on every matter on a message board.

If Gyan had have scored then you're right, perhaps I wouldn't be talking about it so much on here but that wouldn't change the fact that Suarez still cheated. Obviously it wouldn't have had the same impact and hence would be less of a talking point but it wouldn't have changed my opinion.

Just beacuse he was punished doesn't change what he did. Getting caught and punished doesn't absolve the act itself. It still happened. He still delibrately used unfair means to give his team an advantage which is the definition of cheating.

totally agreed.

Cheating is cheating. if you get a red card in a match you simply didn't stick to the rules, gave yourself/ your team an unfair advantage, thus cheating.

And yes I would have done the same. That would still make me a cheater.

Punished or not. A murderer will always be a murderer, even if he did it "only" once.

Well Germany are getting my support for the rest of the tournament, really is a pleasure to watch them play. They just seem to play without any egos in the squad with no one player being expected to produce the magical moment but produce the goods with top quality team effort. Spain have done well to get this far and obviously have world class talent in their squad but I haven't really seen the sort of performance yet that I think will worry the Germans.

im cheering on Uruguay like I said, if they go out, then Germany would be my next choice.

as long as its not Spain or Holland...

same here !

go Germany !

Time to Work !

Germany vs Spain

Holland vs Uraguay

My predictions

Germany 2:1 Spain

Holland 3:2 Uraguay

Germany 3 vs 0 Spain

Holland 1 vs 2 Uruguay

I think Spain is good but cant score. I think Germany is great and can score. So 3-0 for them.

I want to be bold and say Uruguay will win. I hope they do.

www.jamesvandermemes.com

Germany 3 - 2 Spain

Holland 2 - 0 Uruguay

I'm not really expecting us to win against Spain, but I don't want to jinx it either :P.

Germany 1 - 2 Spain

Holland 0 - 1 Uruguay
