that goal was offside - his head was clearly closer to the goal than the defender (for offside decisions all body parts you are allowed to make a goal with count)

This is a sad day for Italy, but the team was playing horribly every game. Should have been obvious. Oh we'll have to wait till the next time around. Now I'm thinking brazil will win and I'm rooting for America.

Just because they were world cup champions in 2006, doesn't mean they will play the same in 2010, and we saw this with their loss and elimination from the World cup. That's what people need to get through their head, they have a lot of new players, and they were missing a large chunk of the World cup 2006 players.
The team didn't play that bad, but ever since Buffon went out it went downhill. There was so many saves that could have been saved, the new goalie they put in couldn't stop shit.I
Oh well, Sad day for the Azzurri and it's fans (i'm not gionna lie i'm a little depressed after that), but they played a last good 20 minutes, only if they did that the full game. They put Pirlo on to late, ever since he came on the forwards and the team's ability to bring the ball up really shaped up.
