we now have to beat Slovenia just to qualify...at least it's still in our hands though, thats something I guess.

I gained lots of respect for USA team after yesterdays game. as much as i like Slovenia to pass, i think USA should have won that match.

so what happens if both USA and England play tie next week? who is gonna proceed in the next round besides Slovenia?

Same here....Premiership is so much easier it seems, (for me anyway) compared to internationals

If England and USA both draw the same score, USA will proceed to the next round. This is because they have scored more goals in their drawed games.

USA = 1-1 and 2-2

ENG = 1-1 and 0-0

If England beat Slovenia by more than USA beat Algeria, England and USA will both go through. Really, Slovenia need to avoid defeat. Algeria can qualify if England lose to Slovenia and they beat USA by a margin of at least 2 goals.

so if slovenia avoids defeat and USA defeats Algeria, Slovenia and USA will proceed and England and Algeria will be eliminated????

 But England are still favourites to come first because they are expected to beat Slovenia.
