Oh no you got it all wrong, I've been done for like 2 weeks already!
I played FFXIII on PS3 first, and I just recently borrowed my friend's 360 version to see the difference. So I would have restarted the game on the 360.
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
Go back and play it, it's great but misunderstood.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
The game really hits its stride in Chapter 11. And Chapter 12 is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I still haven't finished the game but I'm enjoying it thoroughly now.

For me its teh best ff aftr ff8. I went into ff13 with zero expctations aftr the horrible ffx-2 & ff12. bt th game amazed me in evry way. its a must play, finish it, pulse is really amazng too!

Plus it's great. Did you not like it Leo-J?

Yes go on and finish FFXIII. Forget about Strange Journey. If you're in the last few dungeons, just drop it; there really isn't much to see.
Amazing game, the first 5 hours were monumentally disappointing (Chapter 1 & chp 2) but as soon as I got to the crystal lake I fell in love with the game & the character and the way they interact with eachother!
Go on playing, Chapter 10 is definetely where the game goes into the depths of mediocrity, except for 1 part of it. But chapter 1,2, 10 & vanille are the only things I don't like about the game.
And with every FF game your gonna get polarizing views, especially FF8, FF12 & FF13. Play it yourself & see what you think!
Its one of my best FF's but not as good as FF6 (that was close to perfect)
Oh and Strange Journey isn't as good as Devil Survivor (apparently), so if you haven't played Devil Survivor yet play it because its AWESOME!
This was my first Final Fantasy game. I didn't know what to expect while going in because I am a big WRPG gamer since the 90's but by the end of the game it was definitely one of the best games I have personally ever played. The game filled me with a sense of awe & wonder. The imaginative locales, lore of the world, the depth of both worlds explored in the analects within the datalog. The way the characters had to live under the feeling that their death was imminent, it did many things in its plot that I haven't seen in a videogame.
The gameplay was refreshing for me, never played anything like it, the focus on teamwork & using your party members was very well done. In many games if I am powerful I forget what my party members are doing, but in this game I had to work in a team & in some battle one wrong paradigm switch meant it was the end. The battle music during it was phenomenal as well. I see many people putting the game down for focussing on graphics in parts but the sense of immersion in those parts is unmatched due to the art style, music & all those forms combining.
Its not without its flaws though, the writing is bad, no doubts about that. The story could have been much better told & could be more compelling if they hired better script writers.
The game opened a new genre for me & made me try out FF12 (liked mildly) & FF10 which I am enjoying right now.
