I never played the first one. I have new super mario bros wii. I was just wondering if super mario galaxy 2 is really that good. I have never played a full fledged mario 3d game.

if you have never played a 3d mario game, then i'll just tell you right of the bat thar 3d mario is worlds different than 2d mario. they really have lessin in common than eople give them credit for. 2d mario is more fast-paced arcadey action while 3d mario is more slow paced. 3d mario isn't bad, it's just very different. i love both 2d and 3d mario for different reasons.

Don't buy it, the reviews for this game hasn't been very postive.

It's an unbelievable game! I loved the first Super Mario Galaxy and I enjoyed this one even more. It even broke the nostalgic hold that Super Mario 64 had to become my favorite of the 3D Mario's.

If you haven't played a 3D Mario before then there's no better place to start than with SMG2, imo.

Very Good game. Goes beyond the first Galaxy in many many ways but also falls short in others. Level design is incredible.

Just amazing.. i just receive it..... the only way the next 3D mario could be better than this one its adding sm64 like worlds, a big open world, with 6 0 7 stars, maybe 1 or two of this worlds per galaxy plus the traditional galaxy worlds... SMG3!!! Please!!!!
