darthdevidem01, yeah the problem with that though is that i already had Vagrant Story, amazing game by the way.

yeah i will probabily try out the network card thing after i've done some research to see if the games are still regionally locked. oh and i'll add Final Fantasy Tactics to the list. maybe Grandia as well, i have that on hard copy, and even though its as new it suffers from freezing problems so the PS3 should run this stuff with no errors.

I loved MK Trilogy too, but it didnt make my list as I dont feel it would have aged well compared to current fighting games.

PSone was a good time for RPG's, most of my fondest memories from RPG's were in that era :)

 

Suiko 1 & 2

Vandal Hearts (though 2 left me feeling let down, I wanted to continue the story from the 1st)

Xenogears

Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 ofc

Alundra

Breath of Fire 3

Wild Arms

Legend of Legaia (underappreciated, I loved the combat system)

Never played Legend of Dragoon though :(

I would love to see Chrono Cross on PSN.Also Legacy of Kain:Soul River,Fear Effect,Parasite Eve 1 & 2,Harvest Moon:BtN,Silent Hill,Broken Sword 1&2,Wild Arms,Monster Rancher,The Legend of Dragoon,Wild 9,Jade Cocoon,Breath of Fire IV,Xenogears.These are all games i want from PS.

And yes, I'd gladly waste money on games I can already play on my PS3... sans x4 and legends 2. I got X5 way back in 2002, so, I could really use another copy. Any other game I want is probably already on PSN

Well i've done some research into it and it seems that the PS1 classics are not regionally locked, the only problem i have is whether its safe to play these games on an EU tv. because originally the US games were made to run on 60fps on NTSE tvs, and EU PS1 games were made to run on PAL tvs of 50fps. which is why you could never play them anyway.

I have a HD tv, so i'm not sure if this voids the issue, i think it does, but i just wanted to be sure. so to those who live in the EU it seems we can get Suikoden and FFTactics. and i suppose if you are fluent in Japanese you can download all you want from the JP store.

Just out of interest i have a US PSN account but i live in the EU, does anyone know if i could download Suikoden and play it on my console, or are all this things still regionally locked? i mean if its as good as some people have said....

Well i would like them to focus on games that were never released in the EU, for whatever reason, so firstly Chrono Cross and Xenogears, then they could think about releasing titles that were only available for a very short space of time.

I think we can use a UK credit card to purchase of he US store

 

 

 

You need a US address for a US account, when you use a UK credit card you cannot change the address to a UK one, thus you are lying about your billing address which counts as fraud.

 

You can however buy a US PSN card off ebay to use with a US account.

Wow I had no idea about that!!!

Well I haven't done it before & won't be doing it now, guess ebay is the way to go.

My friend was addicted to Dino Crisis; I would like to go back and see what he was excited about.
I'd also want Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story- never played those either.
