This is just my opinion though, and it's great to hear developers praising each other.

For the record, Bower's Inside Story and Brawl weren't developed by Nintendo but other than that I approve of your respectful post

What, those games were developed by 2nd party developers, right?

I know the Brawl developer(can't think of his name) has been making Nintendo games for years, so while technically they aren't developed by Nintendo.....I still think of them as being developed by Nintendo, lol.

Anyway, yeah, Nintendo is probably the best developer on console imo. Their games might not be absolutely "better" than say Uncharted 2, but there are a lot more of em, hehe.

None ps3 owners would say no BUT imo UC2 alone have put them in a league of their own...once UC3 comes out no one will be able to question it

and also they have been helping out a lot of other developers as well, many have mentioned that already...that's a sign of a GREAT developer right there...

oh yea btw at the end of the day it's ALL opinion.....some people will say this is better that is better yada yada...doesn't make it 'RIGHT' or 'FACT'

1) I think BioWare is sorta in the same league as Naughty Dog and Epic. I consider these devs to be Elite Devs and the ones you mentioned like Kojima Productions, Bethesda, Nintendo, etc are all considered really the best of the best. Rockstar North is in the same best of the best league.

2) MGS4 is better than Fallout 3 lol :D!!!

Anyway, despite all I've said, ND is a great developer, and just because other developers MIGHT be better than then, doesn't diminish the greatness of their culture and their games. This is their thread, I'll let them have a little priase, lol. I'm not really that big into the gameplay of Uncharted 2, tbh(there is way too much shooting considering the game isn't really a "shooter," lol) but those graphics, the climbing, that artstyle, and that character interactions are a priceless experience that everyone should have.

I want two things out of Uncharted 3. An improved shooting mechanice. Less shooting. More climbing, slightly longer, more Drake, an RPG element, maybe an open environment(less linear) and more puzzles that make you think. Pull that off and you might just have the best game ever made. Right now, to me, I give it a 9.5 with a "editor's choice" asterisk.

.........it's gonna be HARRRRD to top that train scene though.

They said ''“They’re the best console developers in the world at the moment.” So it's not about how many games they made in the past, but in recent times. WoW, Half-Life 2 etc. are not recently developed games. Also it's the amount in wich they managed to push a system to it's limits, and how well they can put resources to use. They weren't asked to help with the developement of Killzone 3 for no reason. So they meant it more from a technical standpoint.(although i think Polyphony might be even better).

Offcourse if we look at gameplay wise, or appeal it just comes down to taste. If you like free-roaming games, Rockstar is the best. If you like action-role plying, than Bioware or Bethesda etc.

Yeah I reckon Naughty Dog can make improvements for Uncharted 3. What's most interesting about the elements you want to see in Uncharted 3 is the RPG element. What sort of RPG element are you looking for? Making Choices perhaps like Mass Effect 2?

I'm not going to argue that Naughty Dog isn't one of the best haha. They have proven numerous times that they are able to create fun and innovative games while fully using the hardware they are given. Just a very strong and passionate developer. I'm not going to say they are the best, but give credit were credit is due. Naughty Dog is definitely one of the best in the industry right now and I can't wait to see what they are working on now. I know people love the Uncharted series, but I'd really like to see them go a different direction and create something new.
