However, I still have a hard time believing Uncharted 1 and 2 are better than Mario Galaxy 1,2, Brawl, Kart, Bowser's Inside Story, and Twilight Princess this gen. Also, I think Portal and Half-Life 2 are both better games than Uncharted 2. I think World of Warcraft is a better game than Uncharted 2. I think MGS4 is a better game than Uncharted 2. I think Mass Effect 2 is just about par with Uncharted 2. I think Red Dead Redemption is BETTER than Uncharted 2, and I think Fallout 3 is better than any game I've mentioned so far. This is just my opinion though, and it's great to hear developers praising each other. |
They said ''“They’re the best console developers in the world at the moment.” So it's not about how many games they made in the past, but in recent times. WoW, Half-Life 2 etc. are not recently developed games. Also it's the amount in wich they managed to push a system to it's limits, and how well they can put resources to use. They weren't asked to help with the developement of Killzone 3 for no reason. So they meant it more from a technical standpoint.(although i think Polyphony might be even better).
Offcourse if we look at gameplay wise, or appeal it just comes down to taste. If you like free-roaming games, Rockstar is the best. If you like action-role plying, than Bioware or Bethesda etc.
