As a kid, we WERE pretty poor. Now, I make a pretty good living. Damn good considering that I don't do shit when I go to work. Well, that's not entirely true. Sometimes I do shit. Literally.
Anyway, back in MY day, the stories about "back in my day" were about somebody else's day.
Maybe we should turn off all the nuclear power plants which aren't being used by super heroes to gain their powers. That way all these gadgets won't work as there'll hardly be enough power to go around! Muahahahaha evil schemes are the best!

Wow. Thats one great thing right there. Not only could you give yourself super powers, you could have super sperm able to penetrate anything. Imagine going to the mall and jacking off in the toilet and releasing enough sperm to impregnate an entire town! That way everyone will have super powers!

Yes, kids do have it easy these days. My school/ school buses were not air conditioned, just graduated this year btw. And now, because of budget cuts, any child within 1.5 miles of the school HAS to walk.

I graduated two years ago, and my high school wasn't air conditioned for the most part. Only the offices (principal, nurse, guidance), and any rooms that didn't have windows. I didn't have Internet until 1998, a DVD player until 2002, or broadband until 2005 (actually, we got broadband for Mario Kart DS).
It's still only a rather priveleged segment of society that gets these things.

Depends on the kids. You can easily look around, it is not much different than it was for a lot of older people. For some, it is even worse.
