Whenever I look at the release date of games how come most games come out in Japan first ?

and then it normally goes to USA with Europe same/slightly after USA.

To answer your question it’s usually only the games that are made in Japan that get released there first.

Because they need to be translated into other countries languages.

This depends largely on publisher. Nowadays games tend to come out in NA first because NA publishers are winning marketshare from the Japanese. However games from Nintendo for example almost always come out in Japan first simply because thats where their developed. However Nintendo has been improving over the years translating games into english while their in development or delaying games until the english versions are complete.

The Japanese who like FPS games probubly wonder to themselves, why does America get all their games before we do!

Any game (of certain genre) that does well in its certain region will always get released there first. This is because of where the companies are HQ'd as well.

Just to piss us off with the late localization.
