Forums - Nintendo - 3 Reasons Why Super Mario Galaxy 2 Doesn't Deserve 10s

There was a level in the first world, I think it was the Flip-Top Galaxy, that was amazing. The first Galaxy didn't start to get that crazy for at least 30 stars. Galaxy 2 throws the crazy levels right at you at the beginning.

I think losing the hub world was awesome. That, along with the level design, make me feel like this game is a great balance between 3-D Mario and 2-D Mario. It's not as exploration-based now. It's more like each level is a really wacky obstacle course, and you just have to survive until you get to the end, like New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Just now you find a star instead of a flagpole.

It's funny how not a single complaint is about the gameplay or level design. He just complains "it's all the same" and then "it's too different" and then "they put all the levels in a row so you could select them faster, but I still miss Mario 64's castle." I think GTA4 dropped more features than Galaxy 2, and those were everybody's favorite features, not something that was just in the way like a hub world.

music to my ears. nothing else matters NEARLY as much

every site I look at they're like "amazing level design", "massive amounts of creativity" and "new gameplay idea in each level)"... just what i want to hear :D

A "10" doesn't mean a perfect game. It never did. Means an outstanding, must play experience.

Is that really the best people can do for complaints? Normally when people complain about a game it's because it's buggy or broken or whatever, or because some aspect of the gameplay is stupidly put together, or because it only has 9,999,999 pixels rather than 10,000,000 pixels....

Here we have somebody complaining about a Toad delivering a letter, and claims of copy/paste that were proven incorrect months ago.

Priceless.

VGChartz

Wagram says he beat the game. I believe him. And to prove it, he's going to add somebody from VGChartz to his Wii friend's list and then he's going to send him the pic that he gets for beating the game!! Go ahead, Wagram!!!! Show those non-believers who's boss!!

You guys are going to have so much egg on your faces.......

who cares if the game has copied and pasted in some aspects, every game does it... this game deserves the praise it got because about over 96% of the game is new idea's

plus i like someone to name me 1 flaw in this game.. because you wont find one

It's a good game.

I'd say it's about 9.2 quality game. I do have some problems with it, but that's every game ever made lol. I can't think of any game ever made that derserves 98% or whatever lmao. None of the games this generation most of all even come close to that type of quallity.

Well you know what they say...."Haters gonna hate". ESPECIALLY when it concerns Nintendo.

All of the reviews this game has received are completely justified. It's absolutely brilliant.

If that is the best they can find,it actually helps to tell you how good the game is. I have been playing it a lot up to 94 stars and 41? I think comet things. I am not going to score I will just say I think it is the best 3D Mario game to date. Before this I felt it was SMG 1

i give it 11/10 so still avg 10 anyway. end of discussion.
