I have more female friends than guy friends. It's my preference. I'm not gay, though, but I somewhat dislike having guys as friends unless they have a solid Christian background and have good morals. I chose my friends wisely. I can relate to women a lot more because I share a lot of similar interests (music, movies, books, TV shows, etc.) and I work around women at the daycare I work at. So...

Plus the guys I know view women as objects or they are very ignorant and mean towards others. I see guys mainly as rivals, but I am VERY protective over females. Trust me. There were a few cases on here in which I even 'attacked' a few male users on here who were talking crap about women. It makes my blood boil...

More seriously, so long as you friends are your friends then I wouldn't worry about it. I'd be a lot more worried if I didn't have any than they were mainly of the other sex.
