Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo is no longer lazy, like IGN said so.

@Aielyn are half those IPs even made by Ninty????

Ima agree with Metallicube on the motion part. Ninty kinda been dragging their feet in that department. It took them this long to make an attachment that makes the Wiimote close to 1:1 (which should have been there from the jump) and they dont even make games that support it???? gotta do better than that. The online & VC could use some serious attention too.

Oh yeah, I'm sure Miyamoto was browsing IGN and was like 'hey these guys really know how to make a good game, let's do what they're telling us!'

who knows reggie might mention it at E3 hahaha

WHAT?! Since when IGN is the authority in gaming?! Nintendo was never lazy. They have taken more risks in gaming this generation and just because a bunch of pàthetic menchildren said the opposite doesn't make them right!

IGN...geez!

I want voice-acting for everyone in the new Zelda BUT (and its a HUGE BUT) LINK!. Every body else can speak all they want, but Link must remain silent, so we can identify better with the character.

More OT:
I don't think they are lazy, but they don't make a huge effort, specially helping third parties sell more. They need to give a boost to those exclusive games that the developers/publishers are producing and show them in their E3 presentation like they did before.

" don't think they are lazy, but they don't make a huge effort, specially helping third parties sell more"

I am really tired of that stupid argument. what do you want them to do?! make the games for them?! give them money for advertisement?! or in other words..you want Nintendo to do the 3d parties job?!

No wonder why 3d parties act like elitist hunger artists..

Nintendo was never lazy, IGN just didn't understand what Nintendo made New Super Mario Bros Wii

Nintendo's not going to change the Voice Acting, because to change Voice Acting you pretty much need to change actors. Bad acting comes down entirely to the actors and script, so unless they want to change the game's entire script (which would merit a longer delay than they gave it), they're going to have to stick with what they have, as i don't see them doing an entire shakeup of voice actors.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I think Ign was harsh in their accusation of Nintendo being lazy. After all, if they were so lazy, why do their games prove to be of such high quality time and time again, miles beyond most other companies? why do they also receive sales that are miles beyond the competition?

Simple answer to that: Don't change a formula if it works. You can perfect it over the years though. That's what they always do actually, for the better or worse.

I mean... just look at Galaxy 2!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

mmmk...how about games take years to develop and not just months??

I sure hope N doesn't take IGN into account when planning their games...

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

I wouldn't understimate the impact that IGN makes on the Market and I think that neither does a Company as Nintendo. Hold on, don't hit me. I am not saying either that they make business decisions according to what IGN, Gamespot or Gametrailers write. But those are indicators that must be watched, because they do have an influence on public and they may say what part of the public want to hear. The whole "adverstising" thing wouldn't make sense if media didn't make impacts at all.
Anyway, I'm glad Nintendo has proven they didn't betray their fanbase. They'll prove it even more at next E3.
