First game was really nothing special. The need to improve the game before they worry about options they will offer in the sequel...

Local Multiplayer was one of the things it needed to improve upon. They seem to be addressing a lot of the complaints the first game had, so let's not dismiss it before we see the final product.

Yeah, leaving that out was a problem. It was a major reason I didn't get the game until I saw it on a really reduced price. This version will be higher on my get list because of this.

But it's not just me. Look at the top-selling FPS. Aside from PC games (since local multiplayer isn't something PCs are made for), see how far you get before you find a game without split-screen multiplayer. Of course good design is important to also include (since we get a lot of poor selling FPS with split-screen), but the fact that most of the top selling FPS have that feature shows it is important to have.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I'm guessing this game is coming out in mid-October to get the jump on a new Call of Duty?

are those screenshots of the finished product? because they look worse than Medal of Honor on a portable console that i should not mention.

Screenshots?  I only see one.  It's of local 4 player mdoe, so what do you expect?  With a single screen shot from a single area it's hard to say what it looks like.

With this, they're already one step closer to fixing the original's major shortcomings.

Now if their promises to fix the art style and add more variety to the gameplay pan out, we might just get the definitive Wii FPS we all hoped the original would be.

Yeah I'm excited for this. I used to game online a lot but nowadays I don't have the greatest connection and it really sucks when a friend comes over and I'm like yeah this Conduit game is a good shooter, but MP is only online. Like wtf, I'd have to ask my friend to go home so we could play together.

Can't wait to play this, it's been awhile since I played with 3 other people on my Wii.

Cool but the real question is if it will take 15-20 minutes to start a game online again and if they are going to use any anti-cheat methods.

For once, we wholeheartedly agree...

It's also stretched, as I have seen that screen before and it was a lot smaller than that.

And unusually, I agree with Kyliedog. The online had two huge problems, matchmaking failed/took ages about 1/3rd of the time, and hackers/cheaters.

This game is gonna be awesome.

BTW, did they pick a winner for the sweepstakes? They said they would around May 18; I didn't get an e-mail, so I'm guessing I didn't win... Oh well, I guess I could cough up $50...

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
