You are a pirate.

But yes, I will buy tis. It will sell poorly. Nintendo knows this. This is what we call nintendo throwing its fans a bone.

What a meaty bone it will be.

To be fair I dont think this is costing nintendo much. I doubt they have to sell more than 200K units to make a profit. But yeah, Im glad they picked this up to publish...

Treasure seems to be a Sega/nintendo fan still. most of their games get published by one or the other. :)

It'll get like a quarter that much

Its already there without NA sales... :)

If it is as good as it looks, I guess it will have a strong word of mouth. It seems to be a lot of old school fun, just like Punch Out!!

And then they say big N doesn't care for its fanbase.

OMG disolitude complimented a wii game??

this game just must be THAT good.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I am secretly hoping that someone out there goes to nintendo and shows them this stuff... If bunch of independant programmers can make Wii games look this good using emulation and anti aliasing, imagine what nintendo could do.

Nintendo may have a trick up their sleve here...these games look so natural in HD that they may have been designed with that in mind. Kinda like how Game boy games had color since the beggining...even when using the green screen.

Wii HD may not be a joke afterall ;)

I'd love to get it, but I'm low on cash. It's a shame, it looks amazing and the original was fantastic.
Someday I'll pick it up cheap I guess.

i agree, this is one fuckin amazing game. like you i also tried it through emulation. The controls, the action, the music is all freakin great. Treasure knows how to make a good arcade like game. DAY MOTTHERFUCKIN 1.
