Love the first one!

who said that? lol

Phil Harrison. It's from 2006.
According to the article he said there is no need for PC because of PS3 having Linux.
Kinda funny when you read it today.

Uhm rainbird? halo, BF1942 and Warcraft III are mostly splitscreen multiplayer or lan games, the online component was at most, icing on the cake. And you know that using PC games is irrelevant, because Iwata is obviously talking about the console market (what with that whole, representing a console manufacturer thing :P. |
WRONG. As a PC gamer since I could, well, play games, you're wrong. All three of those games were hugely popular online games. In 2003, online games on consoles were not extremely popular, but on PC online gaming had been going on since the mid-90s. Ever hear of Quake 3 or Counter-Strike?

^ yep yep, quake 3 and unreal tournament online were around way back in the old days. and what about everquest? geez. online gaming has been around forever.

Yeah, even a GameCube fanboy like myself knew for a fact it would end up on PS2. I'm surprised they didn't put it on Xbox.
