scottie said: I love people that for some bizarre reason claim that Nintendo had a bad E3 2009
NSMB, SMG2, Golden Sun, Metroid: Other M were all announced, as was Wii Vitality Sensor and Wii Fit Plus.
A lot of games received a bunch of new detail.
how the hell can the announcement of 4 huge, heavily hyped core games be embarresing? And from a sales perspective?
Nintendo's E3 2009 was the best of all time. OF ALL TIME! :P
JK, it was pretty damn good though
i think this alone makes your argument invalid
That was from E3 2008, I remember watching and thinking wtf is going on. XD Nintendo's 2009 E3 didn't have anything embarrassing besides watching Cammie Dunaway playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii and running into the first Goomba. XP
Natal and Move were pretty damn embarrassing last year. They have the potential to fail again this time around too, if all they show are more lame-ass party games and pedophile simulators.
I'll be very disappointed if Nintendo fail to announce a big non-Mario hardcore title, though an amazing Zelda Wii showing might still save their asses if this is the case.
And Nintendo's 09 conference was fine; they were the only ones who announced many exclusive games were didn't already know about.
Microsoft and Sony has the most room to become embarrassing with their Natal and Move. Nintendo has Zelda and 3DS to make people overlook any shortcomings they may have during their conference. GT5 and Last Guardian could save Sony. But in the end it comes down to who spends the most time on Natal/Move/Vitality Sensor unless they manage to present software for them thats interesting or good quality.
MS is going to blow the roof off with hype, celebrities and PR. Sony is going to keep releasing sequels and N will be doing there own thing like always..
