MY GOTY so far. Forget Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2 and the rest.

I've been playing with the lasoo for way over an hour now.

I have been lasooing cattle (bulls specifically) for the past half an hour having one chase after me for about a mile just so I can watch him charge straight off a 200ft cliff edge. The Endorphin animation engine makes this so funny to watch. Especially when he launches me flying.

I lasooed a thug, hog-tied him ran over him with my steed a few times and then hoisted him on the back of it and took him over to a train track and dumped him on it. Eventually I get fed up waiting for the train so I cut him free and he limped off desperately. He didn't get far as I lasooed and hog-tied again and then put him down in the Marshal's office.

Dogs don't take kindly to being lasooed either. Our game of tug of war was cut short as he charged for my ankles, I let go of him spun 180 degrees and sprinted for the closest shack and jumped up and hoisted myself to safety

This is what I love about Rockstars games. So much effort and detail goes into them to make the world look, feel and react real which probably explains the ridicolous development budgets.

i am sure my personal GOTY will be peace walker if not then Yakuza 3 , but i want to get this it sold out everywhere

I m more and more interested in this game

and It may become my very FIRST GTA-like game !!!

I m really tempted to purchase it. I love the horse riding in big environnement (ala SoTC)

I just cant help myself, I keep popping in GOW3 and MW2 instead, I just can't resist

The more I play it the more I enjoy it :)

It really is amazing. The last time I was this excited and had this much fun playing an open world game was when GTA3 came out for PS2. RDR is so much better than GTA4 it isn't even comparable.

Yeah but that's Xbox, the PS3 version has a way less foliage and jaggies ya know? :P
