it's always worth to buy Bioshock 2.
It's probably just as awesome as the first one (gameplay wise), but it feels like more of the same, instead of the "fresh" feeling you got with the first Bioshock.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 will most likely have the same effect.

I dont mind gameplay wise, still love the gameplay of bioshock 1, what i am worried about is if the story and atmosphere is any good, i asume the atmosphere stayed the same, but with ryan out of the picture i'm wondering if the story is still interesting.

Yes the atmosphere is the same but I think the story was sloppy, still a good game but Uncharted 2 was better. And the story of Uncharted 2 was a big improvement on the first, not to mention the Multiplayer is amazing.
