Vivi would win because he'll ask the Elite Beat Agents to help him.

That....makes no sense at all... o.o

Dude.

Listen to what you're saying and then ponder this.

Fallen Angel brings Vivi's HP to 1 right from the start, before Vivi can even draw breath. Forsaken deals 2000-3000 damage, and it's not reflectable. And i'm not even pondering that Kefka uses Havoc Wing, which is an insanely fast attack that does 1500-2000 damage, physical, and he can do that twice in a row.

That Auto-Regen better heal Vivi like he was on meth

Hmmm....

Double Cast doomsday, cause dark damage to heal Vivi with a Pumice Piece AND damage Kefka for 9999 twice.

@Havoc Wing

Distract lowers physical attack accuracy, so with luck, it misses.

@Forsake

Return magic, on Kefka, and then Double doomsday.

Vivi wins.

Good battle, but Vivi is one of my favorite video game characters, not to mention a total badass in my game!

Eh

Kefka tends to cast Fallen Angel in the middle of battle, then also follows that up with Ultima or Forsaken

Vivi might be able to do it if he was a combo-specc'd melee character from FFVI, but as he is in FFIX? Not a chance, even if he just cast Doomsday nonstop (Kefka is the fastest enemy in the game)

Final Fantasy IX is definitely the most restricted game in the series with getting a lot of damage in one turn, bosses from other FFs can't be damaged enough for FFIX characters to solo.

I love how Vivi can cast all of that and Kefka does nothing at all

Like Khuutra said, Kefka is very fast. Like I said, Havoc Wing can hit twice, and comes out very fast. You can get hit by a couple of rounds of Havoc Wing consecutive attacks.

And Vivi, even with Auto-Haste, will have a tough time keeping up with Kefka.

I know. It's not fair from a mechanic standpoint.

Especially because Ultima insta-gibs Vivi

It's not really fair to put one final boss Vs a playable character.

But if you change the template of Kefka(Boss) to Playable character(like when golbez fight zeromus)
Now you will have a epic & fair battle.

           Sequel I want the most :

Patapon 3 , Elite beat Agent 2 , ROTK 12 , Mother 4, Legend of legaia      3, Resident Evil outbreak 3.

Yes, but Vivi can be Auto-Reflected and can't be damage by normal Kefka.

I don't think Dispel works on Auto-Abilities (or if there is even a Dispel in FFIX).

When did this move into who would kick whose ass, anyway? Kefka is arguably the most powerful character in the series from a narrative standpoint.
