Sadly the PS2 can't live forever and I think Sony will announce its discontinuance and the availability of PS2 games on PSN at GDC this year which will be effective at the beginning of the next Fiscal year (around March 2011). It will be a sad day for the PS2 but a rather happy day as well because it will be sort of a passing of the torch to the PS3 if you will.

I've played through KH II 4 full times.

Ahh the PS2 days....the days where graphics took a backseat to quality games.....the days where you would go to a game store and see literally half of it dedicated to the ps2......the days when R&C was actually good.

Will there ever be a home console that is close to the ps2....no.

Thinking about this thread makes me weap when I think about my ps3......those days will never be met.
