After many releases of CoDs and year over year increase in sales of each game with the name call of duty why do most of the people on this site hate call of duty? in my opinion its a great game and deserves each one of its sales! All who hate shud stop saying things like this "guys stop buying COD and buy this game *****" well you should awake to the truth that people dont want to stop buying COD cuz it ownz and if it sucks as much as ya'll think it wont be top sold game for ps3 and soon for xbox 360!

So if I dislike a game, I am not allowed to voice my opinion?

The first two games were great, after that, it just feels like they've been milking it for every penny they possibly can, which they have, and my expectations of the series have just gone down and down, I mean, I loved World at War, didn't mind CoD4, MW2 was, in my opinion terrible, and CoD3 was just utter terrible too.

Maybe if they didn't release so many iterations too quickly, and make so many spin offs, it'd be an enjoyable series, but it seems with each later game, less effort has been put in, and they've just added random new features to shut the fans up...

There is always a backlash against any super popular thing. Particularly from nerds. That's just how we roll.

Great sales are not a flawless indicator of overall game quality. The problem with CoD is that it's become lost in its own hype, COD4 was fantastic and offered brilliant multiplayer, while MW2 got too big for its own good and lost alot of that. It ended up just being a mess.

I'm not so sure everyone dislikes Treyarch, but I think the general consensus is that they aren't as good a developer as Infinity Ward though that's probably because they hadn't left WW2 yet. With Black Ops that view of them will probably change, though I wasn't that blown away by the trailer.

I don't really hate it... But I don't like most first person shooters COD included.... It's hard for me to hate a game... as it didn't do anything to me :P
