And where does bothered = sorry?   In any language in the world where are those two words linked?

How about the English language. Bothered is used in the same context as sorry in many cases.  Either way, you were bothered about the dog, and not the human being. My point still stands.

OK, i always avoided this kind of videos, but today i watched them and i regret that decision.

The most hard-to-watch video was the 3 guys with a hammer, they are just sick and they deserve to be out of this society for the rest of their lifes (thank Cher they got this !)

I was a little sad reading the whole story, those people didnt deserve that destiny.

I saw the dog video, unlike the 3 guys 1 hammer video I was able to watch the dog video. I didn't watch it straight through though, I kind of scrolled through it.

It is pretty messed up and I feel really bad for the dog but it doesn't hold a candle to the poor guy in the hammer video for me.

That was so disgusting.

One day I stumbled upon this site (through cracked.com or somewhere)

It had the most horrific pictures, of a guy that was decapitated by a helicoptor and worse.

Sure goatse ect are all disgusting, but these were just .. too much.

In no cases can bothered be used in the same context as sorry,  zero, not once.   Your concept of the english language is skewed if you think so.   Your point may stand but you are still wrong

Yes it can, here, "I was sorry to hear about your dog dying," Hearing about your dog dying really bothered me" Simple easy, on-topic. My point still stands, and I am still right. You feel worse about the dog video than you do the one where a human being was murdered. There is something very wrong with that.
