Seems that everyone's reading this the wrong way. I'll keep my impressions of the dog video to myself. 

I am actually quite curious about your impressions of the dog video,  just because it was the only one that bothered me out of all the videos so far mentioned.  SO please do share.

 

In your mind, you are indeed putting the well being of an animal in front of the life of a human being, you feel sorry for the dog, not as sorry for the human being. No matter how you spin this, those are in a nutshell, your words. I'm not faulting you for this, I'm faulting society. We've arrived at a horrible place.

You said the the dog video was the only one that bothered you, you weren't even bothered by the one where the guy gets tortured, then murdered. 

And where does bothered = sorry?   In any language in the world where are those two words linked?
