Wow, .ru domain finally, may I take this as an indication of change for the better, Ninty? I hope NoE will handle the support themselves this time instead of ND.

This still isn't confirmation, man. It's just confirmation that they don't want people stealing the codename.

I've always wondered why Nintendo has not done this for the DSI. They could include Online card battles!

it's possible, but not 100% possible....
with 3DS people might believe it's just the new ds model, so they'll need another name

That's why i think they need to change the name, and remember what reggie sad "The jump here is more to what we had from de GBA to DS" so i think we gonna see much bigger differences here than before...

it's a good name to me... hope it stays... I kinda miss the gameboy brand, but DS brand is good too.

I would give an 8 to the name: it has the brand DS in it but shows immediately what changes and what is the most important ability of the console. But I thing bothers me: if the 3D can be turn off, and they said it will have many other interesting characteristics, will they upgrade the name, like adding something to just "3DS"?
