jesus you guys ! , just get out to any show out there, thats my "Proof" for my hypocritical reply.
that "scream" you hear in these videos , its called Cheering , its a thing people do when they want to cheer others and some use whistles which is the "Vieeewwrt" sounds you hear when you watch these videos, and others do the "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTT!!" , its a normal human behavior and every crowd that exists do it.

That Super Smash Bros. Brawl reaction was pretty great too, especially when they revealed Snake as a playable character. Can't find a live video of it though...

*shrugs* There's only so much volume a crowd can get to at a certain size. Increase the size and you get more volume.

Zelda won't give nearly as much reaction simply because the group won't be as large. I can't wait regardless, though!

wowzers to that Diablo 3 crowd reaction, on par with Zelda, but the crowd is like 4 times bigger.

The point being that the severity of the Zelda crowd's reaction was beyond the norm, according to what we can tell from videos and according to reports from the show floor (including IGN, if I remember).

Yes, every crowd does it. Most of the time, anyway. But this crowd did it in a big way.

Thep oint is that the crowd's reaction was emblematic for the intense reaction people had to the first Twilight Princess trailer, which was probably the most bit-chomping reaction the Nintendo crowd has had since ... maybe ever. It's hard to say.

Unless you would care to argue that excitement over TP in 2004 wasn't particularly pronounced either?

Severance, as someone who has lead teams of people to E3 and can personally vouch for the crowd reactions on numerous occasions, the Zelda reaction was by far the most intense of any reaction at a pre-E3 media briefing.

Grown men were actually crying in that room that day.

The problem with Wind Waker was that unless you really played it, you wouldn't know how good of a game it is, and is easily brushed off by people who look pass cartoony games. I didn't even play it until I had a Wii.
