The point being that the severity of the Zelda crowd's reaction was beyond the norm, according to what we can tell from videos and according to reports from the show floor (including IGN, if I remember).
Yes, every crowd does it. Most of the time, anyway. But this crowd did it in a big way.
Thep oint is that the crowd's reaction was emblematic for the intense reaction people had to the first Twilight Princess trailer, which was probably the most bit-chomping reaction the Nintendo crowd has had since ... maybe ever. It's hard to say.
Unless you would care to argue that excitement over TP in 2004 wasn't particularly pronounced either?
