I had it ordered for the PS3 but now i switched it to xbox 360. I mainly did this because i have more friends on xbox live and since i already payed for xbox live i might as well use it. So do you think i made the right choice? Is the exclusive content for the PS3 even that great? RDR should play great on both systems right?

Well since it uses the same engine as GTA4, it's safe to assume that it'll run smoother on the PS3, but look slightly better on the 360, however, the visual difference in my opinion wasn't enough to sway me to the 360 version. so I'm guessing RDR will be the same...

Seriously, the DLC doesn't seem enough to make people want to buy the PS3 version, it's only a costume and a new place like a cave/hideout or whatever.

You made the right choice. If you want to play with certain people, go where those people are. Simple as that.

The differences should be minimal at best, trivial at worst, so do not worry about them. The DLC is lacking in anything real substantial, so I just hope it was not paid for (big waste of money).

If you've more friends on the Xbox 360 then its only right that you get the 360 version. I don't think the exclusive content would be worth more than having fun with friends in the game and remember that a co-op mode is coming as DLC for free in june to both platforms so you'll want your friends for that.

If you intend to use the multiplayer, then you probably made the right decision yeah.
