unless you are talking about a mod then no there was no online planed of the game. The creators were however planing to launch an MMO set in the same world and with similar game play but I don't think thats planed until next year, I think they may have been planing on launching a beta this year tho.

Grabbed the game a few days ago. It's pretty fun but it gets very boring after a few goes.
Dont own it, but it looks good. Just like the team behind Zeno Clash, they just need to make a sequel or new game to grow their reputation.

It's really hard to relate to that 500 000 number, since we seldom get real numbers on indie games. It's also hard to say whether or not this was good for the developers, since I have no idea how much they got and I have no idea what the game cost to make.
But it sounds good. I can't imagine they wouldn't have gotten their money back and then some.

Well, considering indie games generally have much lower budgets then the typical hd console or high profile pc release, I think its not a huge risk to say that 500,000 is a great number. Especially considering the game didn't really get a retail push (it was released on digital services before retail).
Since its now avaliable for steam on mac and its price was recently dropped, I think its sales will be getting a nice boost in the short term aswell.
Even though those 500k were at half regular price (only $20) it's still quite good. They made a nice profit for sure.
I wonder how much Mount & Blade and M&B Warband sold.
It's really fun, and they really did an improvment on the inventory system. In ME1 and Dragon age, half my playtime is about ma,aging my inventory system...
Somehow, Torchlight is a bit repetitive at the end, but the difficulty curve is very finely done. And the idea of the pet is really nice !
Nice! It's a great game, so it deserves the sales. The current state of indie games on PC is really something special. The Humble Bundle is another example.
