im not sure who this guy is or where he gets his info from, but he mentions treyarch releasing a beta for COD: Black Ops.  apparently treyarch is listening to the fans this time around and trying to improve the game where MW2 has failed. he also brings up some valid points for possible improvements in the next game. personaly i like the idea of a "barebones" playlist.

World at War had a beta. The final product didn't have the polish, good level design or forward progress of either Modern Warfare games. Treyarch just needs to begin pushing the series forward as opposed to trying to keep up with the Joneses. 

Blame Truth is a pretty well known guy on youtube in the gaming community. I'd believe him that there's a beta. He probably gets into it because he's a premier director on Machinima.

I agree with pretty much everything he said.

Dedicated servers, a playlist with no perks/killstreaks, no grenade launchers, Shotguns as primary weapons not secondary, more recoil/sway on weapons (make them slightly harder to use), etc. All amazing ideas.

I'd love a beta for the game... the cold war is a promising setting, but I won't be buying without trying the game for size first.

A beta seems like a good idea. Test the grounds before release to see if people like it.

that would be suicidal, people would realise how bad the game is and get instead medal of honor or crysis 2.

if the beta shows me that camping isnt the main focus of everyone il get the game.
