Mario, Pokemon, dynasty warriors

Oh, there's plenty. Let's see...

-Grand Theft Auto. So we reskin everything and get people to rebuy the same game all over again!
-Call of Duty. How many have been released recently?
-Guitar Hero. Ditto. I hear a cow mooing in pain on this one.
-Final Fantasy. Squenix, try releasing something withOUT the words "Final Fantasy" in the title...
-Pokemon. Really, at least 2 games at each iteration, and a remake on the next system is almost assured.
-EA Sports. Madden since when?? I want to say 1991?
-Gran Turismo. Not too many games have had the gall to charge for what is essentially a demo.
-Metal Gear. These seem to be ramping up in frequency, with not a lot of actual gameplay.

1- COD
2- Halo
3- Mario-games (so much mario that the last one looks like one of the first)
4- Pokemon (They won't stop before they milked it in every color possible)
5- Guitar Hero

definitely Mario since nintendo have milked it since god who knows when xD
oh and halo too.

It's funny how it's mostly sony players who say halo is being milked, while it's not...

How about Singstar?

They release like 27 of those a week.

pokemon is by far the most successful milkers. They can release the same game 3 times and each one sells over 5mil.
Other milkers COD, Guitar Hero, Sports games. Can't really think of any other games that consistently spew out at least 1 game a year that is usually nearly the same. Although some just release the same game every few years but i don't consider that milking.

I really wouldn't say a franchise is milked if a lot of effort goes into each game, so COD, Halo, Mario ect ...

Also, to anyone saying Halo is milked because of two spin-offs, well we might as well count Killzone and Resistance because of the PSP titles eh?
