Too many licensing issues. With Sonic in SSBB it's already more amazing than ...

A few years ago I had a crazy dream about playing Smash on the GBA. The graphics were prerendered and stuff. A few hours after I woke up I was convinced I didn't dream it and the game was REAL.
...freaky, huh?

Kart Fighter, Kirby Superstar, King of Fighters kame out before SSB64 (like the alliteration there? I'm the next Shakespeare.)
Once Nintendo showed you could do more than clone Street Fighter though, SEND IN THE CLONES!

OMG! Taikoubou and Nataku of Hoshin Engi!? Who else is in that thing? Sibuxiang? Edit: Youzen and Kotenka are in it too! |
Yes, it has an incredible selection of great manga characters. Some are only represented as supports, but the game has over 300 characters from 41 different Manga. You can buy it on eBay for standard DS game price. If you buy it tell me and I'll be happy to kick your ass in it.

do any games use the same style of having a percentage system, rather than a damage system?
that was always teh thing that kept me away from the other fighter games. just couldn't get into them because there was no flexibility to the health meter. you hit 0 and you're done and that's it.

2) the xbox live arcade game called small arms or something like that I always figured as a SSB clone, but it doesn't have any licensed characters and the characters start with weapons and ranged weaps. The way levels are set up is alot like SSB. Its pretty fun though.
Still not sure why it's a percentage...a straight number going up makes more sense to me.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Sadly my list of To-Buy and To-Play games are already far far too large though I will surely add this to the former.
If/When I get it, I'll be happy school you in it.
Gotta get people used to losing to me before Brawl comes out after all.

You don't know what pain is until you play me in JUS. I will combo you to death so fast you'll never want to play me in a game again. You'll still be crying from the whooping come SSBB's release and you won't be able to play that either because your hands will be shaking in terror at the thought of meeting me online.
