I found it interesting that PS3 software is higher than Xbox, even though Xbox is supposed to have bigger userbase both in numbers and usage (Blueray player only etc.)

360 has alot of pirated consoles aswell and god knows how many of them 40 million consoles are fucked up with RROD. probably a good few million. also the 360 audience isnt as diverse as the ps3 audience which makes a difference.

Somebody says they intend to market XB360+Natal as the new console. Oh well, hundreds million people believe them each time they say the latest version of Windows is juicier and tastier better and safer than the previous one, so it could work again... 
xbox360 will sell more when it releases its slim model and natal, but i think alot of those sales will be existing xbox360 owners that want to own the "newer version" so i dont think it will increase its software sales that much.
For example my nephew owns a normal xbox360 and when the elite was released he bought that so owns 2 xbox360 and says if the Slim rumours are true then he'll buy a slim so that'll be 3 xboxs sold but on one game will be bought for them.
its showing because the 360 is over 5million ahead but some multiplatform games are outselling on the ps3 in my opinion this shouldnt happen the 360 versions should Easily outsell ps3 versions if the gap really is over 5million, the latest game for this is street fighter.

well u ll still have 360 fanboys over net who shouts how no one buys ps3 games.
disppoitning xbox 360 & PS3 sales, i thought they wud bth be ovr 150K for th whole year
