Its looks like the PS3 is starting to (slowly) come into its own. 2008 will be interesting, while no doubt the wii will continue to steamrole at the front.

Don't be surprised if it runs out of coal! That's my prediction in any case...
Yep, only another 5 years with both consoles selling at this level and PS3 will catch up with Wii in Japan.

Assuming that things remain the exact same, yes. No points for you!
1. Why is it outselling by "400 points"
2. What matters is that the PS3 sales have risen since the price drop, and they have stuck just above the 360 (athough I think the PS2 is outselling them) and this is impressive, especially considering the year that the PS3 has had
| DMeisterJ said: The Sony PlayStation 3 has bested the Microsoft XBOX 360 for the third week in a row in World wide sales by only 400 points. This success can be attributed to it's strong European presence, and Japan presence with the 360 Japanese presence barely even there. 360 outsold PS3 in America but, with the help of Japan and Europe, it again, has won. |
I understand that we often treat this as a sport, with "teams" we root for and all... but.. seriously.
400 points? Sony "bested" Microsoft by 400 points? Those are consoles, folks. Units, perhaps. Product sold, even. But points? No.
To the main point, much better week for Sony. I think this bodes well for a respectable Christmas worldwide.
