Iwata: More unannounced games on the way this year!

Thursday 13-May-2010 10:27 AM What would you like Nintendo to announce?

Satoru Iwata revealed Wii Party earlier this week but there are more as-yet-unannounced games on the way during this financial year according to the Nintendo boss.

Iwata told investors that the companty has more games up its sleeve. "We have not announced all the software that are going to be launched within this fiscal year, and will make further relevant announcements in the future, so it is not true that we are limiting the software developments for Wii now," he said.

We already know that Metroid: Other M, Zelda Wii, Pikmin 3 and a new Kirby Wii game are in the works, but what else will be released?

Clearly you'd expect software for the Vitality Sensor and 3DS to be unveiled, but what other games would you like Nintendo to reveal soon? Let us know by commenting below.

a new IP? thats not star fox, pikmin, or that Pink puff ball (Kirby)

i hope they announce a star fox game but i i want a new brand new IP.. Nintendo already has 46 franchises but nintendo should add 1 more to that mix lol

I'd rather see a Star Fox, F-Zero, Waverace, Pilotwings, or 1080 Snowboarding for the balance board rather than Kirby.

Well we can estimate the following for already announced titles:

May: Super Mario Galaxy 2
June: Sin and Punishment 2
July: ---
August: Metroid: Other M
September: Wii Relax
October: ---
November: The Legend of Zelda: Wii, Wii Party
December: ---

Xenoblade and/or The Last Story might be able to fit in there too if they come to the West. We know of Pikmin 3, Zelda Wii and Wii Relax (or whatever the VS will be bundled with) but have they all been announced? Wii Relax certainly hasn't been so that's one unannounced title for Wii this year, Zelda Wii we know is coming so I'd fathom a guess and say that Iwata wasn't alluding to that. Pikmin 3 has also been announced by Miyamoto.

I know that Retro's next title will be announced at E3, quite sure about that one. I doubt it'll make it out in 2010 though.. I guess the other game will just be a surprise!
