You seem to care way to much about how people feel about Natal, if it's not impressing other console owner's, then it's not doing it's job very well. I saw plenty of 360 fan's attacking Move earlier in the year. I'd probably count 5 thread's a day attacking a product that was not released and yet I didn't see any of the 360 fan's back off even though they we're in the same situation.

A lot of people on this site seem to have a very one sided view on thing's, I'm not saying you do, but I hope that you defend Sony or Nintendo when their being given unfair negative criticism. 

I don't really care what Sony fans think of natal, I will call them out for it though.

I would rarely defend sony and nintendo, because I just don't visit those threads, and I'm not interested enough in them. I don't own a PS3 or Wii so it doesn't matter. I know 360 fans attack move, and they're just as bad as some PS3 folk attacking natal.

I own a 360 and I agree with those PS3 fans about being skeptical of Natal. So far it looks like a gimmick. Plus this is suppose to win over some PS3 and Wii fans.

There is hardly anyone hyping Natal on this board, I would say there are just as many skeptical 360 owners on here as any other group of gamers.  We've seen NOTHING new of Natal for nearly a year, the E3 blowout will be the true yard stick, until then we should all just refrain from being overly optimistic or indeed pessimistic imo.

I completely agree, but i do think the antsy view of some gamer's on the software on Natal are being premature in their judgement about Natal.

I think that the technology demo's that they have showed on project Natal are very good where they are in development stages, and that right now Microsoft are taking their time in making sure it's going to be better when they do release it to the public.

I think their is an over abundance of

"i want it right now" 

instead of waiting on the maturity of the product to be done to make it better for gamer's experience when playing the motion controlled game's.

I can tell Natal will frustrate alot of people. Good luck with Natal MS.

I'm sceptical about some genres like not totally arcade racers, FPS or any combat game not being only melee, but I can see Natal's potential for some other genres, for example dance, fitness, some sports.
OTOH I find most demos and the first propaganda spread around (particularly that happy family video) really appalling, not doing a good service for Natal.

Everybody stop at once being negative about Natal, it will be PERFECT.
For one-armed gamers, I mean.
Provided they have the right arm left.

Let's hope it runs more like Windows 7 and not a pain like Vista.

They could make two versions, Natal ME, cheap and unreliable, and Natal 2000, expensive, reliable (since its 4th service pack, obviously), but with less HW and SW support. Then, after two years, they'll unify the two version with Natal XP, that initially will be unreliable and buggy as hell, but with time it will become very reliable and supported. Only when Natal XP will be almost perfect, they'll retire it to release Natal Vista.
