E3 is only a month away. Here are some of my “predictions” for the big three.

SONY-

Pretty much set in stone-

Jack Trenton hosts entire briefing

Stats showing strength of sales from end of last year

On stage demo of LBP2 with its new features demoed

GT5 actually gets release date and is playable in near final form on show floor

Announcement and video of Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Resistance 3

Release date for Final Guardian with new video

Strategy for move made more clear with first party launch titles, expanded list of games which support move, pricing (at $50-$59 US), and third party support (possible montage of developers talking about how cool it is they can sell their Wii games to PS3 owners now)

3D support for this and that

1 or 2 new IP’s

Agent is shown with Rockstar discussing PS3 superiority

Jaff’s game details slip during a drunken ranting interview

PSP software emulation is announced for PS3 (play same download on PS3 or your PSP)

Move ports of Wii games are announced and shown off by third parties

PSP2 with details, actual game footage, etc

Kevin butler comes on stage, announces he is the head of kick ass exclusives, video real of new exclusive IP is shown, and does comedy bit

Turn 10 shows up just too bad mouth competition- this time without a product

Denis Dydak comes out dressed like the phantom of the opera during Gears 3 demo, curses Epic for the failure of Too Human and vows to get revenge with Too Human 2

Nintendo

Pretty much set in stone-

Zelda is shown in video form and fanboys break into wild Zelda induced orgy of crying and love making

3DS is shown in person by Saturo Iwata, video only presentation of games

Pikmin 3 is shown in video form

Reggie gives paint by numbers discussion of Wii success, evergreen titles, then proceeds to takes interviews from everyone on the show floor and says exactly nothing of any substance like a well oiled politician

Cammie Dunnaway presents stuff no one want’s to hear about etc., someone throws something at her finally

Luigi’s mansion 2 is announced

Starfox is announced

Pilotwings is announced

Show stoppers

Zelda is shown in video form- Miyamoto comes out in full drag as Zelda, has playable demo on show floor with 5 hour long lines

Actual 3DS is playable on show floor

Heart monitor thing shown with cool horror game or something

Potential failures

Cammie Dunnaway presents stuff no one wants to hear about and no one throws anything at her still

Wii music 2 is announced followed by a full sequel to the on stage jackassery of Wii music’s announcement

Heart monitor thing is shown with some hospice care yoga breathing stress relief simulator or something

Did I mention Cammie Dunnaway

3DS will probably be on the show floor it is coming out this year after all (at least in japan) definitely more likely than Announcement and video of Killzone 3, Infamous 2 and Resistance 3. I expect some third party Wii stuff, Golden Sun DS and Pokemon B & W etc stuff. Dragon quest X info may be shown as well.

Sony sounds about right but I expect some FFXIII versus

I expect Microsoft to have something really big to show that is not currently known.

NATAL, PS Move & 3DS will be the major focus of the big 3 respectively. It will be more about games for those than games for current consoles.

Ninty -

Zelda Wii Trailer, Gameplay and Release Date
3DS + Games
Pokemon Black/White will launch on both DS and 3DS, with 3DS exclusive stuff.
Lots of boring sales information for about 10 minutes.
Epic Mickey, The Last Story and some big hyped 3rd party game announced.
3 new games featuring Mario.
Cammie, Reggie, Iwata and Shiggy all feature.
Vitality Sensor game.


Sony -

Gran Turismo 5 + Release Date
The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy XIV and Metal Gear Solid 4: Existence given release dates/schedules.
Uncharted 3 Trailer
Little Big Planet 2, Ape Escape, Socom 4 and a bunch more games shown, all feature Move support. LBP2 will be bundled with Move.
Huge PSP Pricecut announced for the week after E3. Resi Evil PSP, God of War PSP and KH: BBS all shown + given Holiday release.
Grand Theft Auto 5 revealed to be codenamed "Agent", PS3 timed exclusive... Releasing this holiday.
Tretton hosts the most of the show, Kevin Butler makes an appearance.


Microsoft -

Halo Reach, Fable 3 and Gears 3 all given media blowout.
Halo 4 Trailer. Beta will be in Halo Reach. Halo 4 will release Holiday 2011, the return of Master Chief.
Project Natal given full blowout. Plenty of games. Big expectations. Banjo Threeie!
Xbox 360 "Natal" announced. New SKU with Natal bundled in. Will retail for $199 and the 360 Arcade will retail for $150.
Call of Duty Black Ops shown, exclusive stuff.
Celebrity appearances for some game. Probably the new Rock Band.
Mattrick will do the show.
