Even if Sony announces a PSP-2 at E3, the biggest surprise will still be our first look at the Nintendo 3DS.

Why would the biggest surprise of E3, be something we will have known about for months?

Man the same logic can kind of be applied to the PSP-2. if Sony reveals the PSP-2 in response to the 3DS, nobody will be surprised at all.

Some of us have very loose definitions of "surprise".

Because we haven't seen it yet. When we finally get the revelation of the thing we are eager to see but can not yet comprehend, it will probably have much more in the way of surprises than the thing that... well... a second PSP.

I dont think there'd be a PSP 2. Sony just announced a new GoW for PSP, if anything that should've been a great PSP 2 launch title. For PSP, I just want their promising of new Resident Evil on PSP and the DMC series. I'll just guess Sony will have a new PSP-4000.

Biggest surprise would be if Sony announced a PS4 for this holidays.

I would be curios to see what Sony made with the PSP2. Especially the Hardware would be interesting. what way would Sony go. A Multicore CPU and what kind of GPU, how much Ram ?

It could easily have 256 XDR Ram for GPU and CPU. Will it be a Multicore CPU ?

How much is possible without active cooling ? What GPU will it have. Maybe it could show the direction the PS4 will go.


Also PS2 and PSP fairly similar. Will PSP2 games look similar to PS3 games ?.

It would be a surprise. since the PSP is still so expensive. So what will happen. Will they announce a PSP2 for 2011 and lower the Price for PSP 3000 and PSP Go ?


Sony has to do something with the PSP its by far the most succesful non Nintendo Handheld. But Piracy is killing it. Can they do a PS3 Like anti piracy protection ?
