Procrastination runs in my family I always did all my school work in the last moment and my siblings are the same way. My grades could have been better if I wasn't a serious procrastinator.

sounds like me. lol I'm so lazy I once slept for 12hrs,got up and watched a movie and went back to bed for another 4 hrs. lol

Why do we as individuals or even society in general have this negative connotation for failure?

Failure is based on ones perspective...

 

OT: BTW not doing ur term paper isnt about failure per se, its about bad habits and making a commitment to doing something.  It takes practice and discipline which usually one cannot just turn on.

But is it not that negative connotation that makes failure undesireable, and makes us learn to avoid it?
