Forums - Nintendo - Anyone who plays their Wii on a projector?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if there is anyone here who has their Wii hooked up to a (HD) projector, or hade a good look at one in action.

I always play my games on a hd(720P) projector and it's probably the number one reason iv'e been holding back from buying one until now. This is because i fear it will look pretty bad, since a Wii can't output the projector's native resolution(it's an LCD projector so that's pretty important) and SD probably won't look to hot on a 100'' plus screen anyways.

The thing is i haven't been able to check and see this for myself.

I play with a 1080p projector with my Wii on a 117" screen.

I have zero problem with the graphics.

Love playing 4 player Mario Kart Wii on it and Mario Galazy looks so freaking good aswell.



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

Good to hear Naum! How is it compared to for example a X360/PS3 or any other console for that matter? I remember trying my PS2 once witch wasn't so great(not sure what cable i used and could have been interlaced).

p.s. What cable do you use for your Wii, component i presume?

Aye I use component

I do play PS2 games on it sometimes but as you said it isn't so great to look at but Wii games look much better then PS2

i do every Saturday i hook up my wii to a projector and the size doesn't really matter it always looks good also i have no input lag if that may concern you



N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!
