I think he is too gay too, but it is still entertaining playing mario games, although not always as entertaining as some of the other games available for th Wii.

Yes I do think that.  GameCube had some great games, but they were spanned over 6 years and only came out a few at a time.  Wii had nearly the same amount of good games in its first 3 years.  And we still have plenty more coming like Metroid: Other M, Mario Galaxy 2, The Last Story and Dragon Quest X.

Frankly, I'd say titles like Muramasa, Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros Brawl alone are reasons to own the Wii.

There has been for a long time, but of course the Hardcore(aka elitist casuals) don't know what on the consoles so they think there are no games

When Super Mario Galaxy 2 comes out, Wii sales will increase like never before. It'll at least triple its sales.

If those are his thoughts/words (Mario being too gay), then chances are he isn't going to be very enthusiastic about any of Nintendo's offerings, especially the Wii series of games. Hell he probably won't even look twice at some of the "maturer" first party titles such as Metroid or Zelda for trivial reasons like "Samus is a woman" or "Zelda is an elf".

If this is the case then there is practically no justification for a possible Wii purchase. Higher quality third party games are in larger volumes on the X360, unless of course he really REALLY likes those niche games like Muramasa and Little King's Story. Even then he's still probably better off with an X360.

I'm sorry but anyone who thinks Mario is "too gay" really has no business owning a Wii.
