Yeah well games get compared, especially when they are in the same genre. I know some people think LBP is not a platformer and thus not comparable to Mario platformers, but to me the gameplay mechanics are similar enough to make a comparison meaningful. Interpreting the results depends on personal taste though.
While I don't like LBPs jumping, I do think that it's content creation tools are excellent. But IMO the created content needs to be fun when played, that's why I was pretty disappointed.
