nope, i dont think il ever buy a ps1 game as digi download, i track down hard copes instead but its a good service for those who wanna have a go on ps1 titles



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

FFVIII with the discs atleast on ps3 the battle swirl looks all ugly. I did beat it though on PS3
FFVIII with the PSN version, all the little things are fixed atleast for me.

FFIX I have no clue, as I remember that working fine on the PS3
however, I like to take it on the bus so I'm going to get pSN one too for psp

PSone games work very well on PSP. It's a different issue on a 50" screen....unplayable for me. Personally I think the pricing is fair and if you enjoy the software its worth re-buying given you have a PSP.

Oooo but that's why you emulate them on PC, and clean the textures, it takes a lot of tweeking

but FF9 looks good.!  then on my big screen.. although mines only 32 inch

i have bought every ps1 classic rpg from the playstation store and the reason is, that i want my ps1 disks to stay in their pristine condition. so using up hdd space for saving my disks is a worthy trade-off for me anyways.

I think they look pretty much the same as they did on a 50 inch screen from the late 90s.

Well I wasn't exposed to a 50" screen those days so I wouldn't know.

If my PS3 could playback a game as CPU intensive as Tombraider then yes, there would be no reason to download but, otherwise thats one good reason to re-download Tombraider for $9.99 compared to the other PS1 games being sold at $5.99...wait, what a rip! They know the disc version of Tombraider doesn't work so they charge 4 dollars more for it. How dispeckable...
