Take a look at this chart, it’s an outline of Namco Bandai’s publishing plans for each platform, In fiscal year 2011 (that’s April 2010 to March 31, 2011), Namco Bandai plans to publish thirteen PlayStation 3 titles, but only eight Xbox 360 games.

 

That’s interesting because Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, previously a PlayStation only series, went multiplatform last year. Other announced Namco Bandai titles like Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, and Splatterhouse are also in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

 

Another Century’s Episode: R is only for PlayStation 3 so that’s one game. Could Cellius, a partnership between Namco Bandai and Sony, be responsible for the other four games? Up until now they’ve just been doing Gundam video programs and the now canceled Evangelion newscast.

 

Update: One of the PlayStation 3 titles is probably Demon’s Souls, which Namco

I think its fairly likely that some of their hit Wii games that utilize motion will move to "Move". Taiko for instance has performed well, as has the "Active Life" series.

Considering the PS3 has sold roughly 5x what the 360 has in Japan, I don't think there's anything strange about Japanese developers wanting to publish more PS3 than 360 games.
