Just not big on "creation" games. Feels too much like work for me. But maybe after it's out for awhile I'd like to play some of the user-created levels but I've found most user created levels in other things to be what they are... amateurish. But nice to see them expanding on the concept and pushing it forward, but I think I might be on the same boat as Outlaw here. Doesn't sound to appealing to me given all that. But I know a lot of people like that ability to create the world so seems like good updates for them.

It looks like they looked at a bunch of the PC games like LBP that work better and copied from there.

About time.

I'll probably pick this up, even though LBP is fighting for number 1 on my list of "Most Disapointing Games."

Please please please please say this is true! That would just be amazing

Game of the forever!

"less of a focus on platforming altogether"

I cared alot more about "Play" as opposed to "Create" and "Share".

The less focus on platforming is obviously talking about extending into different genre's like RPG's and FPS.

This could be... Amazing.

Out of 2 million user-created levels, though, if you find 200 gems, that's a hell of a lot of value.  And yes, the levels are ranked so it's not random trying to find the gems.

Someone use LBP2 to make some badass new 4X games a la Master of Magic!!  And old-school RPGs like Secret of Mana and the old gold box Forgotten Realms games.
